Nesting a 300-part sheet metal order in Siemens NX with Teamcenter
A 15-part cabinet times 10 stations nested in Siemens NX: 15 sheets down to 12, a DXF per layout, and every part stored in Teamcenter.

A 15-part sheet metal cabinet, multiplied for a 10-station order, was nested in Siemens NX: 300 parts in three materials fit on 12 sheets instead of 15. Every part and the assembly are stored in Teamcenter.
What was asked

The SH-CS500 conveyor control station is a steel cabinet with a door, a stainless rain hood and an aluminium floor kit. SphereHarness built every part in NX and assembled the station, and the video opens it from Teamcenter. It has 15 different sheet metal parts, 30 pieces per station, and the customer orders 10 stations, so the shop has to cut 300 parts in three materials: 130 steel, 80 stainless and 90 aluminium.
What the agent did
NX developed the flat pattern of every part, and SphereHarness exported all 15 as DXF files with the bend lines on a layer of their own. Each material is nested on its own stock sheet.

The settings are a 10 mm edge margin and 5 mm between parts. There are two passes: pass A is a simple row layout without rotation, and pass B is an optimised true-shape nest where parts may rotate.
What we measured

Steel, S235JR 2 mm on 2500 x 1250 mm sheets: 9 sheets at 69.3 % utilisation in the simple row, 8 sheets at 78.0 % optimised. Its first layout is cut twice and uses 93.6 % of the sheet.

Stainless 1.4301 1.5 mm on 2000 x 1000 mm sheets: 3 sheets at 50.2 % down to 2 at 75.3 %. Aluminium EN AW-5754 3 mm: 3 sheets at 44.3 % down to 2 at 66.5 %.

Every distinct sheet layout is written as its own cut file with outlines, holes and bend lines that are marked but not cut, plus a report for each material. The steel cut file opens straight back in NX, where sheet layout one reads in as clean geometry.
Teamcenter

Everything is stored in Teamcenter: the 15 parts are items 89 to 103 and the assembly is item 105. For the whole order the video states 15 sheets down to 12, three sheets of stock saved, and all 300 parts placed.
