Community rules
Last updated 5 October 2026 · PLM CAD Utilities AS
These rules apply to everything you post in the SphereHarness community forum and everything you submit to the marketplace, including reports. They are part of the End User Licence Agreement (section 13a). Marketplace submissions are also covered by the contributor terms.
How the community works
- Anyone can read the forum and the marketplace. You need a SphereHarness account to post, submit or report.
- Every topic, every reply and every marketplace version is reviewed by a SphereHarness website administrator before anyone else can see it. An approved post or package is public on the internet.
- You post under the public name you chose. Your e-mail address is never shown.
Do
- Be civil and stay on the topic of the category you post in.
- Say which CAD system, release and SphereHarness version you use when you ask a question.
- Check that what you share is yours to share, and remove names, customer data and file paths that identify anyone.
Do not post or submit
- passwords, API keys, licence keys, tokens or any other credential — yours or anyone else’s;
- personal data of other people, or anything confidential to your employer, a customer or another third party;
- material you do not have the right to publish, or that infringes anyone’s rights;
- spam, advertising, affiliate links, or repeated posts;
- harassment, threats, hateful or sexual content, or anything unlawful;
- instructions designed to make the software or an AI model act against the person using it, malware, or links to it;
- export-controlled or sanctioned material;
- attempts to get round moderation, the limits or the verification checks, for example with a second account.
Reporting
If you see a post or a package that breaks these rules, press Report on it and say why. A post or package reported by three different people is hidden until a moderator has looked at it. If you own material that was published without your permission, use the takedown form.
What moderators can do
- reject a post or a version, with a reason that only the author sees;
- hide, lock, pin or remove a topic or a post;
- mute an account (it can read but not post) for a period, or ban it from the community, in which case its posts are removed;
- block or withdraw a marketplace package.
Moderators act at their discretion, with or without notice, including to comply with the law. Moderation decisions are recorded with the reason. If you think a decision was wrong, write to support@plmcadutilities.com.
