Signing In & Out

Connect the SphereHarness panel to your organization account so you can start chatting.

Signing in

When you first open the SphereHarness panel, you are prompted to sign in with your organization account — the email and password issued by your SphereHarness administrator or reseller. Once you are signed in, the panel shows Connected along with your name and role.

Signing in with an email code (no password)

You do not have to remember a password. On the sign-in page choose Email me a code instead, or in the desktop agent's sign-in card press Email me a code. A six-digit code is sent to your account's email address; type it in and you are signed in. The code:

The page always says the same thing whether or not the address has an account, so nobody can use it to find out who is registered. If the code does not arrive, check your junk folder, then ask for another one — there is a limit of a few codes per hour per address.

Forgot your password?

Use Forgot your password? on the sign-in page, or the Forgot your password? link in the desktop agent (in the sign-in card and under Settings ▸ Account) — it opens this page in your browser with your address already filled in. You are emailed a link that lets you choose a new password; it is valid for 2 hours. Signing in with an email code is often quicker if you only need to get in once.

Signing in or out later

To sign in or out at any time, open Settings (the gear icon) ▸ Server Authentication. Enter your email and password and connect, or click Sign out to disconnect.

Connection status

The panel header shows the current connection state: Connecting while it establishes a link to the server, and Connected once you are signed in and ready to chat.

Roles

Every account is either an organization admin or a member. Admins see extra tools that members do not — for example Skill Authors (for granting skill-authoring permission) and the Automation Hub.

If you see "Please sign in" or a connection error, check the Server URL in Settings and your network connection. See Troubleshooting & FAQ.
